You will be an integral part of the accounting close process and will ensure the accurate and timely closing of the books by preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. and need to handle day to day accounting operations, accountants payable and emp reimbursements, and role will be involved in taxation matters i.E. preparation GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B workings, preparation of TDS monthly workings and quarterly filings as well.Core Competencies:Accounting backgroundStrong Indian taxation backgroundCommunication proficiencyOrganisational skillsIndependentResponsibilities:Complete handling of day-to-day AP bill accounting after obtaining department heads approval from the respective departments and reviewing of employee reimbursements in Ramp tool with expenses policy limits and approving ramp reimbursement and syncing to NetSuitePurchase order issue after appropriate approval as per approval processProcessing of Employee Travel advance requests and reconciliation after completion of travel.Reviewing petty cash reportsPreparation Ap aging 2 days before the AP run with necessary approval and credit period.Preparation of monthly tax workings like GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and TDS payable report.Prepare and maintain monthly fixed assets roll forwardAssist with all aspects of the month-end close process with preparation month close schedules like prepaid expenses, prepaid insurance, accrued expenses, depreciation, AP close and other schedules as required.Assist in the preparation for an annual financial audit, including statutory audits, tax audit and GST audits and responding to auditor inquiries.Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.Assist in the development and implementation of scalable accounting processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting.Required Skills:B.COM with 5+ years of experienceStrong practical experience in MS excel, MS word and google sheets.Strong practical working knowledge of the India accounting and taxationExperience in NetSuite or other comparable ERP systems is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracyAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to identify opportunities for process improvements in reporting and to manage multiple projects that promote system improvements and efficienciesPossesses determination and perseverance;
