Job Title: Product Owner & Business HeadLocation: MumbaiJob SummaryThe Product Owner & Business Head – Khet Pe will own the complete product, business, and growth charter for Swan Sat Group’s Ag Tech vertical — Khet Pe. This role combines product ownership , P&L leadership , and strategic execution , ensuring that Khet Pe delivers measurable impact for farmers, partners, and government stakeholders.As both a Product Owner and Business Head , the incumbent will define product strategy and roadmap, oversee development and delivery, manage farmer and partner acquisition, and ensure business profitability and compliance. The role demands a blend of hands-on product management, market understanding, and leadership excellence to scale Khet Pe into India’s most trusted precision-farming platform.Key Responsibilities1. Product Strategy & OwnershipDefine and own Khet Pe’s product vision, quarterly roadmap, and success metrics aligned with Swan Sat Group’s Ag Tech strategy.Translate market insights and farmer needs into epics, user stories, and PRDs; maintain a prioritized JIRA backlog with clear acceptance criteria.Partner with engineering, design, and Sat AITech teams to deliver data-driven, AI-powered features (weather, irrigation, yield, soil health).Champion intuitive UX for rural users — vernacular interfaces, low-bandwidth performance, and trust-driven onboarding.Run A/B tests and pilots to improve activation, retention, and user satisfaction.Ensure documentation excellence through PMO/BA teams: Confluence PRDs/BRDs, RTMs, and release notes.2. Business Leadership & P&L ManagementOwn full P&L, including revenue, margins, and cash collections; drive top-line growth and profitability.Develop and execute the annual operating plan and quarterly business targets.Design and implement pricing and packaging models; monitor unit economics, CAC/LTV, and payback periods.Lead quarterly business reviews and ensure forecast accuracy and financial discipline.3. Market Expansion & PartnershipsBuild and scale farmer acquisition across FPOs, sugar mills, agri-input companies, NGOs, and digital platforms.Lead enterprise (B2 B) and government (B2 G) partnerships for Khet Pe adoption at scale.Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and data-sharing agreements with institutional partners.Collaborate with Bhoomi Sure and Swan Sat verticals for integrated product offerings.4. User Retention, Impact & GrowthMonitor activation, retention, and engagement metrics (MAU/WAU, NPS, cohort health).Design and execute programs that enhance farmer stickiness and recurring engagement.Gather field feedback through surveys, interviews, and analytics to inform continuous product improvement.Drive farmer success stories, testimonials, and measurable field-level impact metrics.5. Operational Excellence & GovernanceBuild and oversee field operations — training, demos, onboarding, vernacular support, and last-mile service delivery.Establish CRM and analytics discipline across sales, ops, and CS teams; run weekly performance reviews.Ensure full compliance with data privacy, licensing, agronomy, and government norms.Deploy dashboards and BI tools for visibility into funnels, cohorts, revenue, and operations.6.
