Job Overview:  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our e-commerce platforms, focusing on Shopify, Amazon, and other marketplaces, as well as managing our logistics operations. This role requires a proactive individual who aligns with Protein World’s brand ethos and core principles of simplicity, focus, personalization, and fun. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment and ensure seamless operations across all digital channels.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Shopify Management:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Shopify store, including product updates, promotions, and website optimization.

- Ensure the site is functioning optimally and continuously improve the user experience to align with our focus on quality over quantity.

- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to implement branding updates that reflect Protein World’s rebellious and fun archetype.

- Monitor performance and suggest improvements based on data analytics.


2. Amazon/Marketplace Management:

- Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, SEO optimization, and promotions on Amazon and other third-party marketplaces.

- Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure Protein World products stand out, leveraging our focus on high-quality products at competitive prices.

- Handle customer feedback, reviews, and maintain a strong seller reputation on all platforms.


3. Logistics & Supply Chain Management:

- Coordinate with logistics partners and warehouses to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products, maintaining Protein World’s commitment to efficient service.

- Monitor inventory levels and implement systems to prevent stock outs or overstock situations.

- Implement systems to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs without compromising on customer satisfaction.


4. Customer Experience:

- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth order fulfillment and post-purchase engagement.

- Work closely with the CRM team to personalize the e-commerce experience, ensuring alignment with Protein World’s 12-step story concept and empowering customers through tailored interactions.

- Implement abandoned cart recovery strategies and follow-up systems to boost conversion rates, aligning with our QVC selling tactics and 'wow' factor.


5. Data & Analytics:

- Analyze data from Shopify, Amazon, and other platforms to identify trends, sales patterns, and areas for improvement.

- Provide regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and logistics efficiency, with actionable insights to drive growth.

- Utilize analytics to ensure the online store and marketplaces are always optimized for maximum sales.


6. Cross-Department Collaboration:

- Collaborate with the marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive approach across all platforms.

- Align closely with the design and branding teams to ensure that the tone, messaging, and visual identity of the brand is consistent across all channels.


7. Continuous Improvement:

- Keep up to date with industry trends, new marketplace opportunities, and technological advancements in e-commerce and logistics.

- Proactively propose solutions and improvements to the e-commerce processes to keep Protein World ahead of the competition.


Required Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience in e-commerce operations, specifically managing Shopify and Amazon/marketplaces.

- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management in an e-commerce environment.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on cross-department collaboration.

- Ability to think creatively and break the mold, reflecting Protein World’s brand ethos.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Understanding of how to integrate brand storytelling into customer interactions and experiences.


Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations.

- Experience in a lifestyle or health/wellness brand is a plus.

- Familiarity with Protein World’s core values: simplicity, focus, personalized empowerment, and fun.

- Experience working with Indian suppliers or logistics partners is a plus.
