Role - Senior Systems Administrator - Redhat Enterprise LinuxYears of Experience - 8 to 12 yearsLocation - Pune and ChennaiMinimum of 8 years’ experience in Redhat systems (Linux, Satellite and Ansible) in a large multi-platform environment.Redhat Linux- RHEL 7.x, 8.xRedhat Satellite - 6.xRed Hat Ansible - Ansible Tower 3.xScripting - Bash and PythonSecurity : Familiarity with security policies, best practices and hardening.Authentication : SSSD and NISComprehensive knowledge of RHEL system administration, including installation, configuration, and management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.Deep understanding of Red Hat Satellite Administration, including the configuration and management of patch management, software repositories, and provisioning.Strong technical skills in Ansible Administration, including deployment, automation of tasks, writing playbooks, and managing inventories.Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.Strong knowledge of security compliance,and implementing best practices to protect against security threats and vulnerabilities.Closely work with business teams to understand the requirements and provide support as needed and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Awareness of ITIL concept Good Communication learning and documentation skills.Good understanding of Service Now ticketing tool.Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Flexible to work evening/night hours and weekends long term if required.Experience with virtualized environments (VMWare) is preferred.RHCSA and/or RHCSE are preferred.RHEL System Administration: Lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.Red Hat Satellite Administration: Design and implement Red Hat Satellite systems, including patch management, software repositories, and provisioning, to ensure efficient and effective systems management.Ansible Administration: Strong knowledge in Ansible Administration, automating system administration tasks, writing playbooks, and managing inventories to streamline systems management processes.Security Compliance: Oversee security compliance measures, including security audits and best practices, to ensure the security of all systems and infrastructure.Technical Implementation: Lead technical implementation projects, including new systems and upgrades, working closely with the internal teams and following project management best practices.Troubleshooting: Utilize deep technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and effective manner, utilizing strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal users, including system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.Work independently and as part of a team, utilizing strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, to achieve common goals and objectives, and meeting SLAs for team collaboration and project completion times.Develop and maintain technical solution documents (TSD) and standard operating procedures(SOP).
