Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of IT products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, experience in SAP, and a proven ability to build and manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. This role will focus on optimizing procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and supporting the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT components, including hardware, software, and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Conduct market research and analyze vendor proposals to ensure competitive pricing and maintain quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Track and manage purchase orders , delivery schedules, and inventory levels in SAP.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction , process improvements, and enhancements in supplier performance.
  • Oversee order management processes.
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure efficient product delivery.
  • Follow up with accounts payable to ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, with a focus on hardware, software, and services.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in SAP procurement modules and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and compare vendor proposals.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with IT hardware and software products.
  • Experience working in the tech industry or with technology companies.
  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
