Description
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with 15 to 18 years of proven experience in managing testing processes and teams within dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, test planning, and defect management. As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of testing methodologies and ensuring that the product meets the highest quality standards before it reaches our customers. You will lead a team of skilled testers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and product management, to establish a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with project goals. Your expertise will guide the selection and implementation of appropriate testing tools and frameworks, and you will advocate for best practices in software testing throughout the organization. In this role, you will also be working to enhance the team's capabilities through continuous improvement, mentoring, and adoption of new technologies. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the testing team to ensure successful execution of all testing-related activities.
Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and frameworks that align with project objectives.
Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define testing scope and deliverables.
Monitor and report on testing progress, issues, and results to ensure transparency and timely communication.
Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to improve testing skills and knowledge sharing.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in software testing throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
15 to 18 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance roles.
Proven experience in managing testing teams and leading large-scale testing efforts.
Strong knowledge of various testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
