We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and possess excellent facilitation and communication skills. This role requires a professional who can effectively lead Scrum teams and ensure the seamless execution of Agile processes.


Responsibilities:


Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them in Agile principles and practices.

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and sprint reviews.

Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure that the product backlog is well-groomed and prioritized.

Assist in the identification and resolution of impediments that hinder the team's progress.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to experiment and innovate.

Track and report on key Agile metrics to ensure team performance and productivity.

Support the team in maintaining focus on delivering high-quality products and meeting project goals.

Promote and ensure adherence to Agile processes and principles across the organization.


Qualifications:


Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.

Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Trello, or equivalent.

Must be based in Chennai and able to work on-site.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in the technology or software development industry.

Ability to work part-time hours, with flexibility to accommodate the team's schedule.
