Responsibilities

●     Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to implement art assets into Unity 3D, ensuring optimal visual quality and performance.

●     Optimise game assets and graphics for various platforms, including mobile, PC, and consoles, to achieve the best possible performance.

●     Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art integration, rendering, and animation within Unity 3D.

●     Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in game development and graphics programming to continuously improve the quality of our products.

●      Meet with clients, other animators, games designers, directors, and other staff to review deadlines and development timelines.

●     Work on 2D projects, including UI/UX design and animation, using Adobe After Effects and other relevant software.


Requirements

●     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.

●     2-3 years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in the game development industry, with a focus on Unity 3D.

●     Proficiency in Unity 3D and expert knowledge of its rendering pipeline, shaders, and scripting (C#).

●     Strong understanding of 3D graphics principles, including modelling, texturing, lighting, and animation.

●     Experience with optimising game assets and graphics for performance across different platforms.

●     Solid understanding of 2D graphics principles and experience with software such as Adobe Photoshop, After effects and Illustrator.

Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
