Senior Frontend Engineer | Pune
What are we looking for?
- We are seeking an experienced, passionate Frontend Engineer who wants to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a talented agile team.
- As part of a cross-functional team consisting of a product manager, designer, and 4-6 software engineers and QA analysts, you will be an active partner in the design, coding, unit testing, and release of new features and enhancements for our growing customer base.
Major Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with Product Designers to implement the next generation of products
- Build efficient and reusable front-end components and systems
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Collaborate with other team members
- Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering
- Champion the adoption of new technologies
Education & Experience
Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Masters degree in commerce from an accredited university and prefer a Masters in finance. A higher degree, in technical education B.tech/B.E, or M.tech/M.S will be an added advantage.
Must Have
- Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript technologies such as Angular, React, and Typescript
- 3+ years of experience building web applications
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS/LESS/SASS
- Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components
- Experience integrating with back-end web services via REST-based APIs
- Experience developing responsive interfaces for web and mobile
- Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Highly Desired
- Experience with NextJS or another React framework
- Strong interest in building delightful, intuitive user experiences
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and JUnit
- Working knowledge of backend technologies like Java Spring Boot, Node, REST-based API development
- Knowledge of web architecture and the protocol
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with MVC development
- Knowledge of cloud development
- Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD environments
- Experience developing internationalized software
- Experience integrating and configuring CMS, CDP, tag managers, marketing analytics and other MarTech technologies
