As a Senior UX Designer at Avalara, you will help shape the user experience across our product suite. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive, user-friendly designs that for our users. You should understand user-centered design principles, experience solving user challenges, high-quality designs.



Responsibilities

  • :Lead the design process from concept to delivery, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
  • .Collaborate with teams to define solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
  • .Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate and refine designs based on user feedback and our requirements
  • .Create design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • .Mentor junior designers, sharing best practices and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement
  • .Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and tools into the design process

Qualification

  • s:7+ years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio showcasing your design process and final deliverable
  • s.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or simila
  • r.Experience with user research methodologies and usability testin
  • g.Experience with user-centered design principles and best practice
  • s.A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Design (perferably from IDC, NID) Human-Computer Interaction, or a related fiel
