We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Email Designer to be responsible for designing, coding, and testing responsive and accessible email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, an understanding of email marketing principles, and proficiency in coding emails that adapt to various devices and screen sizes. Key Responsibilities Design & Visuals Apply graphic design principles including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and color theory to create high-quality, engaging email designs. Create custom graphics that adhere to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across email communications. Design emails that are responsive and adapt to different screen sizes, enhancing user experience on both desktop and mobile devices. Implement accessibility standards to ensure emails are readable and usable by all users, including those with disabilities. Design emails for light and dark mode compatibility, ensuring a consistent user experience. Technical Skills Write clean, efficient HTML and CSS code for email templates that are compatible across different email clients and devices. Use tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid to test and optimize email designs. Troubleshoot rendering issues and optimize emails for faster loading times and better performance. Soft Skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail in file management and design consistency. Ability to spot small errors in design, grammar, spelling, and content display, ensuring pixel-perfect designs. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A problem-solver who can troubleshoot issues and optimize email performance. Marketing & Strategy Apply email marketing strategies to design campaigns that drive engagement and conversions. Use performance analytics, such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversions, to inform design decisions and optimize future campaigns. Design emails with clear, conversion-focused calls-to-action (CTAs) and user flow in mind. Collaboration & Workflow Manage timelines and deliverables for email campaigns, ensuring projects are completed on schedule. Collaborate with marketers, copywriters, SEO analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the email design aligns with marketing strategies. Required Tools & Applications Zeta Visual Editor or similar drag-and-drop email builders. Adobe Photoshop or similar photo editing tools. Adobe Illustrator or similar vector design software. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Jira or other project management tools for tracking tasks and deadlines. Candidate Profile: Education & Experience: Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field. Proven experience in designing and coding responsive, accessible marketing emails. Skills & Strengths: Strong grasp of visual design principles (layout, typography, color theory). Proficient in HTML & CSS with an understanding of email development standards. Experience using email testing tools and solving client compatibility issues. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing pixel-perfect designs. Knowledge of email marketing strategies and performance tracking. Creative problem-solver with a keen eye for design accuracy and user experience. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
