OF THE ROLE

We are looking for an assistant finance manager with excellent administrative and analytical financial skills to join our team. Assistant finance managers are expected to examine and compile financial reports and be well acquainted with governmental regulations. To ensure success, assistant finance managers should be very detail-oriented and be problem-solvers. They must also have strong mathematical and report writing skills, as well as have a strong investigative nature.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects of a company.- Preparing consolidated financial statements and other reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency across subsidiaries.- Working closely with external auditors to provide necessary data and documentation for timely closure.- Coordinate the collection of financial data from different subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all entities for consolidated reporting.- Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the financial department.- System improvements and implementation.- Oversee accounting activities, including posting journal entries and ensuring accuracy in financial records.- Ledger reconciliations and making sure the ledgers and the supporting schedules are up to date and reconciled.- Management Reporting including weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

KEY DUTIES

- Daily Accounting and supervision on day-to-day activities.- Compliance with statutory and regulatory deadlines for audit, secretarial filing and legal reporting.- Support in preparation of MIS, Forecast and Budget- Ensuring monthly closing of books within the timeframe- Ensuring accounting hygiene and controls for the books of accounts

GENERAL

- Work remotely- Perform other job-related duties as requested- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills- Excellent command of spoken and written English along with a proactive working attitude would also be essential for this role

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience: 5-7 Years- Chartered Accountant or MBA- Quickbooks knowledge (preferred)- Proficiency in financial planning software such as Microsoft Excel- A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations and requirements.- Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.- Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.- The ability to work independently.
