The Role :

We're seeking a seasoned Senior MS SQL Developer to join our growing team and play a vital role in our data management initiatives. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions using MS SQL Server, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

Responsibilities :

Database Development & Design :

- Design and develop complex database structures using MS SQL Server, adhering to best practices for data normalization and optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust database models.

- Implement stored procedures, functions, and triggers to enhance database functionality and automation.

ETL Processes & Data Integration :

- Develop and manage efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to seamlessly integrate data from various sources.

- Cleanse, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency before loading it into the database.

- Maintain and optimize existing ETL workflows for optimal performance.

Data Management & Analytics :

- Perform complex data analysis tasks using SQL queries and reporting tools to generate valuable insights for stakeholders.

- Apply your analytical skills to identify data quality issues and implement solutions for data cleansing and improvement.

- Work closely with business analysts and other teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.

Database Administration & Performance Optimization :

- Implement best practices for database security, access control, and user management.

- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure optimal system efficiency and responsiveness.

- Identify opportunities for database optimization and implement strategies to improve performance and scalability.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as a Senior MS SQL Developer or a similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization techniques, and data modeling concepts.

- Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools (i.e., SSIS).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to write complex SQL queries.

- Proficiency in data cleansing and manipulation techniques.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

- Microsoft SQL Server certifications (MCSA, MCDBA) are a strong plus
