Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Director - Instagram Reels Focus at Trademarkia in Chennai. The Video Director will be responsible for conceptualizing, directing, shooting, and editing Instagram Reels and short-form video content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our target audience. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of Instagram trends, algorithms, and audience behaviors.
Key Responsibilities Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce engaging video content specifically for Instagram Reels.
Direct shoots with a focus on high-quality visuals and compelling narratives tailored to our audience.
Stay up-to-date with Instagram trends, incorporating trending music, effects, and styles into video strategies.
Edit video content using advanced tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure videos align with broader campaign goals and branding.
Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the performance of different video styles, concepts, and editing techniques.
Monitor engagement metrics and audience feedback to optimize content for better performance.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the overall Instagram content strategy.
Qualifications Mandatory:
At least 2 years of experience creating high-quality short-form video content, specifically for Instagram Reels.
Expertise in video production, including directing, filming, and editing.
Strong skills in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Deep understanding of Instagram's algorithm, trends, and audience preferences.
Demonstrated ability to create visually engaging, on-brand content.
Excellent storytelling skills with an eye for pacing, transitions, and aesthetics.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with influencers or user-generated content (UGC).
Knowledge of basic graphic design tools like Canva or Photoshop for thumbnail and overlay creation.
Familiarity with video performance analytics and tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Experience creating video content for international audiences and adapting to cultural nuances.
