About the Role:We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test automation solutions, as well as collaborating closely with development teams to improve overall software quality.

Responsibilities:Test Automation:

Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using modern JavaScript testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or TestCafe.Modern JavaScript Tooling:

Leverage cutting-edge JavaScript tools and technologies, including Yarn, NX, Webpack, Babel, and ESLint, to streamline development and testing processes.Test Infrastructure:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of a scalable test infrastructure, including test environments, CI/CD pipelines, and reporting tools.UI Test Automation:

Implement effective UI test automation strategies, utilizing tools like Selenium WebDriver or Puppeteer to validate user interfaces and interactions.Debugging and Troubleshooting:

Employ advanced debugging techniques, such as Chrome DevTools, to identify and resolve issues in test scripts and application code.Collaboration:

Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.Innovation:

Actively seek opportunities to improve testing processes, introduce innovative testing techniques, and contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks.

Qualifications:Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)Experience with modern JavaScript tooling (Yarn, NX, Webpack, Babel, ESLint)Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practicesHands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe)Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issuesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsA passion for quality and a desire to build robust, reliable software

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with test automation frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or JasmineKnowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or REST-assuredExperience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunnerFamiliarity with cloud-based testing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Understanding of security testing principles and toolsExperience with test data management and generation techniques
