Shift : 2pm to 11pm


Requirements :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in a large-scale enterprise environment.


- Expertise in Oracle Database (12c, 19c) installation, configuration, and administration.


- Proficient in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.


- Expertise in Exadata and Goldengate


- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, BCP, and DR.


- Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.


- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.


- Solid understanding of network and storage architectures.


- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


- Strong communication and documentation skills.


- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).


Must have :


1. Database Management :


- Design, implement, and maintain robust Oracle database environments (version 12c and above).


- Ensure database performance, security, and availability in a 24/7 production environment.


- Conduct regular performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.


2. Exadata Management :


- Administer and maintain Oracle Exadata environments.


- Optimize Exadata configurations for performance and efficiency.


- Ensure high availability and scalability of Exadata systems.


3. Oracle GoldenGate Administration :


- Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data integration and replication.


- Monitor and troubleshoot GoldenGate processes to ensure data consistency and reliability.


- Develop and maintain documentation for GoldenGate configurations and procedures.


4. Backup and Recovery :


- Develop and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies.


- Perform regular database backups, restorations, and disaster recovery drills.


- Ensure data integrity and availability through regular audits and checks.


5. Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) :


- Design, implement, and maintain BCP and DR plans tailored to business requirements.


- Coordinate and execute regular BCP and DR testing, including failover and failback procedures.


- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuity of critical business functions during disruptions.


6. Technical Leadership :


- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs and other IT staff.


- Stay current with the latest Oracle technologies, tools, and best practices.


- Lead and participate in the development of database standards, policies, and procedures.


7. Problem Resolution :


- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, including performance bottlenecks and system failures.


- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and mitigate risks.


- Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and changes.


8. Security and Compliance :


- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.


- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.


- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing. "
