More details log on to   Summary: A BIM Modeler (Architecture/Structure) plays a key role in designing, drafting, and detailing building projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Their primary responsibility is to create and manage digital representations of building structures, ensuring accuracy and coordination across architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:-
3D Modeling & Coordination:
Create, modify, and maintain accurate 3D models of architectural or structural components using BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
Assist in the integration of models and perform clash detection using coordination tools like Navisworks.
Documentation & Drawing Production:
Develop detailed construction documents and shop drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details).
Generate quantity take-offs, schedules, and reports based on the BIM models.
Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues.
Participate in project meetings to present design intent and provide model updates.
Assist in project coordination, managing file exchanges, and ensuring data integrity.
Standards & Compliance:
Ensure models and drawings comply with project specifications, company standards, and industry codes.
Implement BIM standards and workflows to improve project efficiency.
Regularly review and update BIM models to meet project milestones and deliverables.
Problem Solving:
Identify and address potential design and constructability issues.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot design and coordination challenges.
Technology Adoption & Learning:
Stay updated with advancements in BIM technology and best practices.
Implement new BIM tools and workflows to enhance project outcomes.
Required Skills:-
•          Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
•          Strong understanding of architectural or structural design principles and construction processes.
•          Knowledge of building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
•          Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple models and drawings simultaneously.
•          Problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve design coordination issues.
•          Strong communication skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications:-
•    Education: Graduate/ diploma in civil engineering / Architecture.
Certification in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) is an advantage.
•    Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in BIM modeling, preferably in architectural or structural domains.
Experience in working on complex building projects such as high-rises, commercial buildings, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of parametric modeling and family creation in BIM environments.
Familiarity with BIM 360, Dynamo, or other scripting tools is a plus.
