Manager - Site Execution

Job Role : Manager - Site Execution. Key Responsibilities : Site Supervision & Execution: o Provide direct, day-to-day on-site supervision and management of all civil construction activities, including earthworks, foundations (piling, raft, deep foundations), reinforced concrete structures, masonry, plastering, flooring, roofing, external development (roads, drainage, landscaping), and architectural finishes. o Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to approved detailed design drawings, specifications, method statements, and project plans. o Direct and monitor the work of civil contractors, sub-contractors, and site labor, ensuring productivity and quality. Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC): o Implement and enforce stringent quality control procedures for all civil works (e.g., concrete mix designs, rebar inspection, formwork checks, compaction testing, material quality checks, finishing tolerances). o Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and rectify non-conforming works promptly. o Coordinate with the central QA/QC team for necessary material testing, third- party inspections, and quality documentation. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Compliance: o Ensure strict adherence to all company and statutory HSE policies and regulations for all civil construction activities. o Conduct daily safety briefings, site hazard identification, and risk assessments for civil tasks. o Monitor safe work practices, proper use of PPE, and maintain a safe working environment. Schedule & Progress Monitoring: o Monitor daily and weekly progress of civil works against the approved project schedule. o Prepare and submit accurate daily/weekly progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and forecasted activities. o Identify potential delays and proactively propose corrective actions to the Senior Executive - Construction (CSA). Drawing Interpretation & Coordination: o Interpret complex civil, structural, and architectural drawings, ensuring the construction team understands and executes per the latest revisions. o Proactively identify potential conflicts or discrepancies between drawings (e.g., civil vs. MEP vs. IT) and coordinate with the Design Department via RFIs (Requests for Information) for timely resolution. o Ensure proper marking and protection of all embedments, penetrations, and sleeves for MEP and IT services. Material Management: o Coordinate with the Procurement team for timely delivery of civil construction materials (e.g., cement, steel, aggregates, bricks, finishing materials). o Oversee proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials on site to prevent damage or deterioration. o Conduct quality checks on incoming materials as per specifications. Contractor Performance Management: o Monitor the performance and productivity of civil contractors, ensuring their work aligns with contractual agreements and project targets. o Review contractor method statements and risk assessments for civil activities. Measurement & Billing Support: o Support the quantity surveying and commercial teams in verifying measurements of completed civil works for contractor's interim and final billing. o Ensure accurate record-keeping of executed quantities. Site Documentation & Reporting: o Maintain comprehensive site records, including site diaries, inspection reports, meeting minutes, daily progress reports, and photographical evidence of work. o Prepare punch lists for civil works and ensure timely closure. Skills/Exp BE Civil with 10-15 years of progressive experience in civil construction and site management Minimum 5-8 years of direct, hands-on experience in executing and supervising large-scale commercial, industrial, or critical infrastructure projects, preferably data centers. Experience with high-rise concrete structures, large foundations, or complex industrial civil works is highly valued
