Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: Pune, India – Hybrid (Onsite 3 days a week)
As Cloud Operations DevOps Engineer, you'll apply specialized knowledge of container, Kubernetes and public/private cloud infrastructure design & operation, to assist with the development and onward operation of a multi-cloud container runtime platform supporting client's Cloud-enabled products & services.
This position makes significant contributions towards the delivery DevOps solutions that support best-in-class cloud based microservice applications. You'll be a member of a dynamic, cross-functional, geographically dispersed team, working with subject matters experts from Infrastructure engineering & architecture, software engineering, DEVOPS, security, networks, firewalls, computing & storage to deliver a global, powerful, scalable, cost efficient, highly available platform that meets the changing needs of the business.
As an infrastructure and cloud DevOps engineer, you will have responsibilities in designing, implementing, and operating automated infrastructure and processes at scale. You will create and maintain IaaS environments that meet service level agreement; support the resource requirements of the development, QA, and customer value realization teams; enable CI/CD; meet compliance and best practice standards; and are well documented.
Must Haves:
DevOps
Public cloud – AWS and/or Azure
Infrastructure as a code and GitOps
Docker and Kubernetes
Scripting Language - Terraform but any IAAC Language will work.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain highly scalable, efficient, performant & resilient capabilities, meeting availability targets of 99.99%.
Leverage your advanced experience of Public and Private cloud environments and container runtime environments, working with other specialists of Networks, Firewall, Security, computing & storage technologies to develop, operate and support the platform.
Using Infrastructure As Code (IAC) best practices, create automated infrastructure within AWS/Azure, on on-premise environments, including package management, application load/configuration, systems monitoring and administration.
Implement and maintain CI/CD tools, services, processes to support development, QA, and customer value realization teams.
Deliver improvements to source code management, deployment, operations, maintenance, cost control, security, monitoring, and audit tools and processes.
Constantly strive to reduce toil and deliver capabilities that enable client to maintain competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Ensure the production environment is operating in accordance with established procedures and best practices. Provide escalated support for high severity and critical network events
