Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Nurse Leader for the Position of Site Director Operations/Director of Nursing - Bundoora Centre Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About the Role: This role requires a dynamic and experienced Nurse leader to the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the operational, clinical and professional management of staff and resources, fostering collaboration, accountability and excellence across Bundoora site and with the Division of Subacute Services and Hospital without Walls. This role is responsible for: Providing leadership to subacute services and with responsibility for site operation Managing staff and resources to deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred care. Fostering effective multidisciplinary partnerships and leadership across the health organisation Ensuring that patient flow, human resources, and service delivery are aligned with best practice and operational efficiency. Promoting a culture of enquiry, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement in championing the care of the older person. Achievement of Aged Care and National Standards accreditation. To be successful in this role you will have: Excellent working knowledge of Nursing Professional Standards, Subacute and Aged Care Services Proven ability to lead others through change Demonstrated strong sense of purpose in leading high quality care for older people interacting with acute, subacute, home and residential care Well-developed professional skills in operations including financial, human resource management, contracts and accreditation Relevant post graduate qualifications (management or clinical) Meet Aged Care Suitability Matters for Responsible Persons Next Steps . . .
