We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Data Architect for our client, a leading consulting firm in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing multiple data warehouse and data lake implementations, possess a deep understanding of data modeling, and be well-versed in driving digital transformation initiatives.


Job Title: AWS Data Architect​

Location: Kolkata, Gurgaon, Mumbai (

Level: Senior Manager/Associate Director

Experience: 10+Years at least

Key Skills: AWS Data ​Engineering, Data Modelling, Data Architect, Databricks, AWS glue

Project Role Description:  Understand the data requirements and structure for the application. Model 

and design the application data structure, storage and integration.​

 

Summary : 

As a Data Architect, you will be able to design ingestion, transformation and summary layer. Design a 

data model for DWH. 


Roles & Responsibilities:  

  • Design and implement data architecture solutions that align with business requirements
  • Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams
  • Collaboration with Business owners for understanding and clarifications
  • Strong understanding of data management technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and Hadoop
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools(AWS Ecosystem preferably)
  • Lead a team of data engineers and architects, providing technical guidance and mentorship
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for data processing, storage, and analytics in alignment with organization goals
  • Utilize AWS services, including S3 for data storage, Glue ,Amazon Redshift , Lambda and EMR for data processing, and orchestrate data workflows that are scalable, reliable and secure
  • Good to have knowledge in real-time data processing solutions using Kafka, SQS, and Event Bridge, addressing high-volume data ingestion and streaming needs
  • Oversee the integration of diverse systems and data sources through AppFlow, APIs, and other integration tools, ensuring seamless data exchange and connectivity
  • Lead the development of data warehousing solutions, applying best practices in data modelling to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis
  • Continuously monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security policies, implementing measures to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Databricks data engineering experience of creating medallion architecture, Unity CatLog
