About the ProjectThe position focuses on advancing clean cooking initiatives within the broader context of energy access and sustainability. The role will leverage research to address the challenges associated with traditional cooking practices, which affect and contribute to significant health and environmental issues.This role is suitable for candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds including those with research, consulting, think-tank, and corporate experience. The candidate will get the chance to explore innovative solutions for transitioning from traditional way of cooking to cleaner cooking alternatives, such as electric and gas, solar, biofuels, and other cleaner alternatives etc. The work will aim to improve health outcomes, promote gender equality, and mitigate climate change impacts linked to household energy use.Candidate will support the development and promotion of modern energy cooking solutions, contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future. The research will play a vital role in informing policies and practices that enhance the quality, reliability, and sustainability of energy services.

The individual would be working from Office based in South Delhi, India.
Primary Duties or Responsibilities
Programme Execution & StrategyDevelop program implementation module/execution strategy by contributing towards preparing detailed activity plans and timelines, resource planning, stakeholder management, and funding agency engagementDeveloping concept notes for new initiatives to be undertaken within the programmeDevelop and manage the partnership with key collaborators, including policymakers, enterprises, funding agencies, program partners, service delivery partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Knowledge ManagementTrack technology, innovation policy, regulatory and market developments and write blogs/papers/articles/ insights for the dissemination of analyses and outreachDevelopment of agenda/notes for various events such as meetings /capacity building programs/workshops, conferences, preparing minutes, and dissemination.
Project ReportingDevelopment of progress reports, updates, newsletters, and dissemination.Adept in preparing the minutes of the meetings conducted for circulationPreparing the weekly, monthly, and annual progress reports in the required formatProject Data Management in Physical and Virtual FormatTracking and coordinating the actions from the meetingsManaging the timely execution of the deliverables under the programme
Project BudgetingTracking, Reporting, and Filing of the project-related expensesEnsuring that the activities of the project are managed within the allocated budgetsManaging project expense filing and budgeting
Plan & Co-Ordinate· Develop Plans and frameworks for Projects· Identify and engage with stakeholders to carry out in-depth research with relevant literature reviews, and research methodologies. This would include but not be limited to the development of Concept Notes, Proposals, and Framework for Stakeholder Input.·Work closely on technology promotion, new innovation and development in the domain of clean cooking.·Work towards improving health outcomes, promote gender equality, and mitigate climate change impacts linked to household energy use.· Work on research requests from senior researchers, discuss research needs, and prepare responses that synthesize and analyse information*Manage team dynamics and support in team building
QualificationsExperience 1.5-5 years in the field of program management (energy / clean cooking / biofuel / solar energy,etc) , and environmental policy.Graduates from relevant field.Strong capability to research, write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently to all levels with government, international agencies, industries, clients, and internal staff and managementAbility to adapt to a new environment, work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment with a high sense of responsibility, and deliver under tight deadlines in a professional environment.Experience in managing stakeholderExperience in the field of energy / clean cooking / biofuel / solar energy etc. is preferred.
Required Skills· Excellent written and oral communication skills· Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills· Ability to write project reports and make presentations to industrial and academic research groups· Ability to manage own workload essential. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Expertise with SPSS, Excel, and PowerPoint. Previous quantitative and qualitative research experience
