Role:

The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining records for projects across thematic areas. He/she will establish productive relationships with project teams and other important stakeholders inside the organization in ensuring deliverables are met in transparent, quality, and timely manner. 


Responsibilities:

a) Develop and maintain comprehensive records of project activities, including meetings, trainings, workshops, and field visits.

b) Compile and prepare detailed reports, case studies, and success stories highlighting project achievements and impact.

c) Ensure timely submission of all required reports to donors, partners, and stakeholders.

d) Collect, organize, and analyse data related to project implementation and outcomes.

e) Maintain an organized filing system for all project documents, both physical and digital.

f) Liaise with project staffs & Monitoring team to gather relevant information and insights.

g) Assist in the preparation of communication materials, such monthly updates, PPTs, abstract and presentations, to showcase project progress and impact.

h) Support the monitoring and evaluation team in tracking project indicators and outcomes.

i) Assist in the development and administration of surveys, assessments, and other data collection tools.

j) Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of all documentation produced.

k) Review and edit documents for clarity, coherence, and adherence to organizational standards.

l) Conduct training sessions for project staff and Anganwadi workers on effective documentation practices and tools.

m) Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adherence to documentation protocols.

n) Participate in project planning and review meetings.

o) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager 

p) Work with other teams in a systematic and data driven manner to effectively showcase the program results. 



Additional Skills

a. Problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative and simple solutions for challenging problems. 

b. Values-alignment with the organisation and a passion to solve complex societal problems. 


Educational Qualifications

a. The candidate should be a graduate in social sciences, education, communications with 2-4 years of work experience in documentation, reporting or a similar role, preferably with the development sector.  

b. The candidate should know English and Hindi and any other regional language (Kannada would be an added advantage).

c. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, with strong abilities in organizational and time management, attention to detail, accuracy in documentation with proficiency in MS-Office and data management software. 

d. The role requires travel so the candidate should be open to travel for work related assignments.
