Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sustainability Coordinator at UTOPIIC. Responsibilities include analyzing sustainability data, communicating sustainability initiatives internally and externally, reporting on sustainability metrics, promoting sustainable development practices, and overseeing corporate social responsibility programs. The role is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra with flexibility for remote work.


  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive GHG Accounting and ESG Reporting frameworks, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, organize, and deliver high-impact virtual and in-person trainings, workshops, and webinars on sustainability practices, reporting, and compliance for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Oversee the vetting of sustainability-related content, reports, and documentation sent to clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with their sustainability goals.
  • Serve as a key sustainability advisor for client engagements, providing expert guidance on ESG strategy, performance, and best practices.
  • Act as a front-runner for UTOPIIC in the sustainability sector, representing the company at sustainability conferences, industry forums, and client meetings.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel for client engagements, workshops, and industry events.



Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Analytical Skills, GHG Accounting and ESG Reporting (mandatory).
  • Proven track record of conducting successful sustainability trainings and workshops.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in vetting reports and client documents.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel to meet client and business needs.
  • Experience in Sustainable Development
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Degree/Masters/PhD in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
  • Certifications in sustainability, ESG, CSR or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor are a plus
