Role:  Experienced aATP Consultant Location: Hyderabad|Mumbai|Bengaluru|Gurugram|Chennai|Pune|Kolkata  Exp:  3-8 Years Hybrid role Requirements We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) Consultant** with strong expertise in PAL (Product Allocation), SD, SCM , and 3PL integrations . The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and optimizing aATP functionalities in S/4HANA environments, with the ability to design solutions that improve order management, supply chain visibility, and allocation accuracy. Experience in Retail and Brownfield migrations will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities 1. SAP aATP Functional Design & Implementation Design, configure, and implement aATP functionalities such as: Product Allocation (PAL) Backorder Processing (BOP) Supply Protection (SUP) Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC) Work with business teams to analyze ATP-related requirements in order fulfillment, sales, procurement, and supply chain. 2. PAL (Product Allocation) Configuration Set up and maintain allocation indicators, allocation objects, consumption logic, and allocation sequences . Support dynamic allocations, period-based allocations, and forecast-based consumption models. Ensure PAL aligns with business demand and supply planning. 3. SD / SCM Integration Configure SAP SD order-to-cash processes supporting aATP functionalities. Align aATP with SCM , procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations. Review and validate functional impacts across Sales, Inventory, Logistics Execution, and Planning. 4. 3PL & External System Integrations Design and support 3PL integrations for order confirmation, delivery, stock updates, and fulfillment communication. Work with integration teams using IDocs, APIs, BAPIs, and middleware (SAP CPI, PI/PO). 5. Solution Design & Documentation Develop Functional Specifications (FS), Configuration Documents (MD50), and Test Scripts. Perform configuration, unit testing, SIT, and support UAT cycles. Ensure full documentation of aATP design, PAL configurations, and integration points. 6. Production Support & Optimization Troubleshoot aATP-related issues (confirmation shortfalls, allocation mismatches, BOP errors). Improve aATP configuration for performance, allocation fairness, and confirmation accuracy. Monitor and optimize BOP and allocation jobs during peak volume periods. 7. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Work closely with Business SMEs , Retail operations teams (if applicable), planners, sales teams, and technical integration teams. Participate in S/4HANA upgrade or migration initiatives (Greenfield/Brownfield). Required Skills & Experience Must Have 4+ years of hands-on SAP aATP experience in S/4HANA. Strong knowledge of: aATP core functionalities PAL (Product Allocation) SD and SCM processes 3PL integration design Experience in more than one SAP aATP implementation or rollout. Ability to troubleshoot ATP confirmations, BOP results, and allocation issues. Strong understanding of end-to-end sales order fulfillment and supply chain processes. Technical & Functional Skills Deep knowledge of S/4HANA aATP architecture and configuration. Experience with IDocs, APIs, integration patterns for 3PL. Expertise in configuration related to: Sales order scheduling & confirmation Inventory visibility and stock determination Delivery processing and logistics execution Strong documentation, testing, and analytical skills. Good to Have Retail domain experience (highly preferred). Brownfield implementation/migration experience in S/4HANA. Exposure to SAP EWM/WMS integrations. Knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, or PP/DS. Experience with performance tuning for aATP & PAL. Soft Skills Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams. Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in complex project landscapes.
