Who are you:An individual withAt least 3+ years of hands-on experience in planning in demand and supply preferably in an FMCG/grocery business in an ECOM/D2C/FMCG environment.Should have in-depth understanding in either driving /setting up S&OP cycles and institutionalizing with all stakeholders in current/ former organizations.Must be comfortable with working on unstructured data sets and is able to create meaningful representations/dashboards out of it. Should possess working knowledge of statistical forecasting and algorithms associated with it.Should demonstrate a thorough understanding of levers of the business and is able to translate qualitative inputs into quantifiable outputsShould be able to create collaborative forums for demand-supply – capacity alignmentStandardize Inventory planning & policies activities but not limited to production planning, days coverage, Reorder level, batch sizes, cycle stock and safety stockShould be a team player with a go getter attitude, Passionate about supply chain.Should possess high degree of persuasive skills, detail orientation, and able to communicate necessities in the right wayProficient in Excel and Tableau/Power BI
Expectations from the role:Set up and conduct monthly S&OP process with all necessary stakeholders for rolling horizon to develop a consensus forecast for medium term and short term along with Sales, Marketing, and FinanceUndertake sensitivity analysis on consensus forecast and duly highlight risk and opportunities to all necessary stakeholders. Cascade the final consensus across the board in timely mannerSet up and conduct weekly cycles of production planning, replenishment process and review mechanism with manufacturers and operations team on inventoryDevelop and formalize inventory policies and master data management guidelines for brand- SKU combinations. Update as and when neededMonitor capacities and accommodate constraints in forecast building; Work with operations team to debottleneck capacity to support business volumes and growthCreate a volume and value-based plan and cascade it down vendors and manufacturers for production & RM- PM Planning for a rolling horizonMeasure and critically review compliances to the S&OP process along with bias in as granularity as possible.Identify and onboard vendors which can routinely provide demand sensing to correct plans and production. Validate consensus forecast through demand sensing algorithms and conduct corrections as and when neededProduction and dispatch scheduling
