Tech (Computer Science), and Commerce Graduates to cater to the outsourced requirements of its various clients. ​Currently, ACPL is engaged in providing qualified professionals with expertise in Assurance & Audit, Taxation, Accounting & Bookkeeping and Payroll functions for the backend support to CPA and CA firms in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, and Australia. ​


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparations of business tax returns using our tax workpaper system to automate the preparation process and document the tax workpapers, including compilations and review of tax work performed by Junior tax accountants 
  • Tax Planning and filing compliances for corporate (C and S-corporations), and partnership for federal and state.
  • Ensure that quality tax services are provided to businesses and individual clients. Additionally extending advisory services to businesses.
  • To ensure that the tax records of clients are in adherence to tax laws and regulations and to identify factors that may lead to tax risks.
  • Ensuring standards of quality and accuracy are maintained while preparing and filing tax compliances.
  • Participate in meetings with management and stakeholders to discuss the tax analysis prepared by him or team.
  • Overseeing the activities of junior tax accountants and developing strategies for junior tax accountants to improve their work outputs. Assigning roles to various members of the tax team.
  • Preparation of response letters to State tax authorities, Coordinating the activities of the tax department
  • Maintenance of tax difference records, tax return papers and investigative material discrepancies between tax returns and end of accounting tax accounting periods
  • Any other activity related with tax.


Qualification:

  • CPA certification or degree of CA with at-least five years experience in US taxation and accounting positions in a dynamic environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or commerce.


Competencies:

  • Knowledge of state tax laws, rules and regulations as well as the local tax laws and regulations. Technical knowledge of corporate and international taxes, including employment taxes
  • Ability to identify book tax differences and prepare tax provisions
  • An in-depth understanding of corporate level tax analysis and multi-state taxation.
  • Knowledge of project and team management principles.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of data.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
