Test Architect


Experience: 10 + to 15 years

Job Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

 

Note: This is for one of our UK based product development client for their Bangalore office



Leadership and Team Management

·      Lead, mentor, and manage a team of experienced QA personnel – both manual and automation testers

·      Foster an inspired, collaborative and high-performance team environment

·      Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Identify training and development needs for the team

·      Mentor the juniors to mould them into thorough professionals


QA Architecture

·      Participate in architecture team discussions in order to bring in the QA perspective for the product architecture

·      Understand the security, performance and other non-functional needs of the project

·      Architect the testing setup, components and resources required and data generation

·      Understand the domain of the project and device means for complete testing

·      Audit the testing process for each project with respect to the standards and processes expected, make modifications and process adjustments to overcome any flaws and drive the team towards continuous improvement


Testing Strategy and Execution

·      Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans

·      Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test cases, scripts, and plans

·      Ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements

·      Manage and maintain test environments and data


Quality Assurance Processes

·      Define, implement, and maintain QA processes and best practices

·      Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

·      Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, techniques and tools


Collaboration and Communication

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product Management, and Operations

·      Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to stakeholders

·      Coordinate with other team leads and departments to align on project timelines and deliverables.


Hands-on Testing

·      Participate actively in the testing process to maintain hands-on expertise.

·      Develop test automation scripts for backend (APIs) and frontend

·      Perform manual and automated testing as needed.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing


Project Management

·      Plan, track, and report on testing activities and project progress.

·      Manage resources and timelines to meet project deadlines

·      Identify and mitigate risks related to testing and quality assurance.
