Job Summary and Description for Java Developer

Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to enhance our team, particularly someone who has a robust background in backend development and is familiar with frontend technologies.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience, with significant expertise in API development and microservices architecture, alongside proficiency in Spring Boot.

Basic knowledge of Angular and familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is also required. This position is located in our offices in Mumbai or Chennai.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

- Design and implement APIs and microservices that meet business requirements and are scalable.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, leveraging basic knowledge of Angular.

- Utilize Spring Boot for building and deploying applications efficiently.

- Engage with cloud services, primarily AWS, for deploying applications and managing resources.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and performance.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Qualifications :

- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Java development.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with API and microservices design and implementation.

- Familiarity with any version of Angular, with at least a basic understanding of its framework.

- Proficiency in Spring Boot for creating standalone, production-grade applications.

- Basic knowledge of cloud computing, with preference given to experience in AWS.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Location :

- This role is based in our offices located in Mumbai or Chennai.
