Job Title: Engineering Intern

Location: Tamil Nadu, India (Remote)

Job Type: Part-Time Contract (Paid Stipend)

Are you a driven and curious engineering student or recent graduate looking to jumpstart your career in software development? We’re excited to offer an Engineering Internship opportunity, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing real-world software solutions. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers, contributing to projects that have a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet both customer and business needs.- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following industry best practices.- Participate in code reviews, learning to give and receive constructive feedback to enhance code quality.- Debug and troubleshoot issues within the software stack, learning how to diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues.- Continuously test and optimize applications to ensure they perform well under varying conditions.- Stay engaged with the latest trends in software development and apply new knowledge to improve our products.- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, gaining exposure to stages from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in at least one programming language and the ability to write efficient, reliable, and scalable code.- Strong problem-solving skills with a desire to learn how to analyze and debug complex systems.- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience or coursework with cloud-based environments.- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in team-oriented projects.- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and basic performance optimization techniques.
