Introduction to Role:
Are you ready to disrupt an industry and change lives? We are looking for a Support Engineer to join our IT team. This role involves supporting the Clinical Development Applications, developing Mulesoft/Snaplogic API’s, Java code, and monitoring our production system to ensure it is operating in a manner consistent with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). You will take the lead during remediation of priority incidents and provide 2nd and / or 3rd line support.
Accountabilities:
As a Support Engineer, you will take ownership of issues right from the time it was reported till remediation by meeting Service SLA’s. You will be proactive in identifying areas for process improvement or finding opportunities for Automation. You will also support all GxP and Audits (internal & external) and assist Risk and Compliance teams to follow-up on audit observations for closure in a timely manner.
Essential Skills/Experience:
3-4 years of prior experience in application support and maintenance (L2 / L3 support) Hands-on experience on ETL tool like SnapLogic, Mulesoft and so on. Knowledge in any programming language preferably Java. Good knowledge of ITIL Framework Experience working on IT Service management tools like Service Now, Remedy. Ability to solve difficult technical / functional issues with ease and complexity Ability to explain solutions to problems in plain language Manage end user communication regarding major incidents Good communication skills – spoken and written Experience working with global teams Self-starter with good time management skills Ability to work independently and provide support to team members Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
