Job Title : Senior Automotive SPICE Engineer.

Location : Bangalore.

Client : MNC in Automotive Industry.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Automotive SPICE Engineer to join our team and lead the implementation and improvement of processes according to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain the quality of software and systems development processes for automotive projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the implementation of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) compliant processes in automotive software and systems development projects.

- Drive process improvement initiatives by gathering data, analyzing performance, and proposing enhancements.

- Conduct internal process audits and assessments, identifying non-conformances and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with ASPICE standards.

- Oversee the documentation of processes, workflows, and compliance activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and current.

- Prepare for external audits and assessments, gathering evidence and preparing detailed reports.

- Facilitate training sessions and workshops focused on ASPICE awareness and best practices within the organization.

- Mentor junior ASPICE engineers and process owners to ensure adherence to automotive quality and safety standards, including ISO 26262.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- In-depth understanding of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and its application in software and systems development.

- Extensive knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and quality standards in automotive projects.

- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) is essential.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

- Significant experience in the automotive industry or with ASPICE-related projects is required.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with automotive software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent.

- Proficiency in configuration management tools (e., Git, SVN) and requirements management tools (e. , DOORS).

- Advanced understanding of model-based development and validation processes.

- Knowledge of C/C++ or embedded software development is highly desirable.
