Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Green Finance Specialist. The role primarily focuses on advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and sustainability initiatives within our organization's financial practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of green finance, sustainable investment strategies, and ESG frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in Sustainability Reporting based on BRSR and international frameworks like GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and others

Understanding ESG data collection through site interfaces

Structure & Produce credible analyses and recommendations based on qualitative & quantitative data, current regulations, and client inputs

Create near-client-ready outputs with minimal supervision and implement Sustainability solutions based on the offerings and priority.

Assist in managing client queries, providing ESG Training to make the clients ESG-aware in general and as may be required. 

·        Design and implement financial strategies that align with our organization's sustainability goals, integrating ESG considerations into investment decisions and financial operations.

·        Conduct comprehensive analysis of environmental, social, and governance factors relevant to investment decisions, identifying risks and opportunities for sustainable financial growth.

·        Provide expert guidance on potential sustainable investment opportunities, evaluating projects and assets for their environmental impact, social responsibility, and financial viability.

·        Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments, including finance, sustainability, and corporate strategy, to ensure alignment of green finance initiatives with overall business objectives.

·        Cultivate relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, ESG rating agencies, and industry associations, to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in green finance.

·        Prepare regular reports on the progress of green finance initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to ESG disclosure and reporting.

       Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification in sustainable finance or ESG analysis preferred.

·        Proven experience in green finance, sustainable investing, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

·        Deep understanding of ESG frameworks and their application to financial analysis and decision-making.

·        Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex financial data and evaluate investment opportunities through an ESG lens.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

·        Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, with a passion for driving positive change through innovative financial solutions.
