Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with curriculum specialists, subject matter experts, and educators to create engaging and standards-aligned educational content for K-12 students.
  • Develop comprehensive lessons, worksheets, assessments, interactive activities, and multimedia resources that adhere to the US K-12 curriculum standards.
  • Ensure that all content reflects the learning objectives, cognitive levels, and skills outlined in the curriculum standards while maintaining accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and approaches to design differentiated content that meets the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Incorporate best practices in pedagogy, instructional design, and assessment to enhance student understanding and engagement.
  • Design and structure content to promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and real-world application of knowledge.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to integrate digital tools and platforms into content development, enhancing the learning experience.
  • Continuously review, assess, and improve existing content based on educator feedback, student performance data, and changes in curriculum standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in US K-12 education, curriculum standards, and pedagogical approaches to inform content creation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in the subject. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Content Developer, Curriculum Specialist, or Educator focused on US K-12 curriculum standards.
  • Strong command of the US K-12 curriculum standards for various subjects and grade levels.
  • Proficiency in curriculum mapping, instructional design, and content development for K-12 education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Ability to apply pedagogical research and evidence-based practices to content development.
  • Detail-oriented approach to content creation, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning tools, e-learning platforms, and digital resources.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Understanding of differentiated instruction and diverse learning styles
