We pride ourselves on a business culture that enables open, creative thinking, and we deeply value our employees and their contributions towards our clients' success, as well as our own.Job SummaryBDR is responsible for developing the market for Altair’s Software Solutions and carrying out the entire sales circle starting from generating a lead, consulting, positioning of the right solution, involving the right resources, negotiating, closure of the sale and delivering the right solution to the customer.Drive our Simulation & Data Analytics tools for selling environment and build active and prospective customers.Serve as the point of contact for sales of Altair’s Simulation software & Data Analytics tools and existing accounts.He/ She should work very closely with Global Marketing team, Technical Support teams and Product Development teams and must act as a catalyst for customer satisfaction.Able to deliver pre-sales technical presentations, develop action plans, lead generation to account closure activities.Drive and coordinate technical members to support customer’s queries.Able to manage the complete sales process by active support for customers in product evaluation, solution proposal making and closing the deal.Able to create a detailed road map for the product sales innovations, marketing support plan creation, and developing long term business opportunities.Able to lead the marketing, Branding and sales related campaigns from the company and share the relevant reports with the management on time and as-and-when required.To present weekly, monthly and/or quarterly sales goals for the inside sales team to monitor actual sales and sales leads, keep track of sales and generate reports that cover sales forecasting, goals and results.To measure the performance of the inside sales/BDR team and determine if existing practices and processes are generating adequate sales.To suggest improvements to sales processes as needed, implement improvements and monitor the impact of these changes over a determined period of time.

Job RequirementsShould have proven experience and market knowledge about Simulation & Data Analytics industry.Experience in sales/Inside Sales and marketing, Pre-Sale technical discussions.Knowledge of the complete sales process and truly a world class communicator.Bachelor or Master degree holder in any Science/Arts/Engineering with 10 to 15 years’ experience in technical selling of Simulation/Data Analytics software tools.The person should have highest level of relationship building thoughts and implement the same with both active and prospective customersThe person should be targeted oriented and should have demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
