Billing Engineer is responsible for the preparation and verification of bills aligning with the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), project layouts and site execution for the MEP projects. He/she will ensure that all project costs are accounted for, prepare detailed billing reports, and work closely with project managers & procurement team.
Responsibilities

Monitoring the sites quantities as per BOQ provided with rational reference to the CAD DWGs- On site measurements- Preparing measurements and variation statements- Verification of measurements from Engineer in charge.- Preparing of running bills- Invoicing- Rate analysis of non-tendered items.- Clearing Audits of site with reference to billing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in billing for MEP works in commercial fit out projects.- Strong understanding of Electrical Fit out processes.- Proficiency in billing software and MS Office applications (especially Excel).- Knowledge of contracts, BOQs, and project management.- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Competencies
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.- Attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.- Strong organizational and time management skills.
