Job Overview We are seeking a qualified Maternity Wards Staff Nurse to join our team at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai. This full-time, mid-level position requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in our maternity wards, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience of 4-6 years in a reputable maternity ward, focusing on providing exceptional patient care. Deep understanding of maternity ward procedures and best practices in maternal and neonatal care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment that demands precision and attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with doctors, patients, and families. Thorough knowledge of hospital electronic medical records systems, and adept at maintaining detailed patient records. Demonstrated capability in patient assessment, care planning, and critical thinking in maternity cases. Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies. Required skills include proficiency in wards management and a deep focus on maternity care. Roles and Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the maternity ward, including prenatal, perinatal, postnatal care, and neonatal support. Coordinate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor the health condition of mothers and newborns, providing timely assessments and interventions when necessary. Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge home care practices. Ensure adherence to all maternity ward protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate actively in continuous professional development and training programs to enhance personal and team skills. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient information and treatments administered.
