Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in microservices architecture and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing scalable and efficient applications and eager to upskill in project management with a focus on the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust microservices while leveraging Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development : Develop and maintain Java-based microservices that are scalable, resilient, and efficient.

- Microservices Architecture : Implement and manage microservices architecture, including service design, deployment, and monitoring.

- Kubernetes Management : Deploy, manage, and scale microservices using Kubernetes. Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.

- Collaboration : Work closely with other developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct code reviews and participate in continuous improvement processes.

- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, deployment processes, and systems.

- Project Management : Willingness to upskill in project management by pursuing CAPM certification and applying project management principles in development processes.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in Java programming (Java 8 or later).

- Proven experience with microservices architecture and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

- Previous experience or interest in project management is a plus.

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 9 years of professional experience in Java development with a focus on microservices and Kubernetes.
