MinimalEngineering is a young, ambitious startup dedicated to building ultra-efficient, customizable hardware products across various domains and industries.
We’re seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative who can communicate our values and explain the advantages of a minimalist approach in design to diverse audiences. This role will involve direct sales to individuals, corporate kitchens, restaurants, laboratories, and other niche applications. You will help customers understand the benefits of our product, generating leads and converting them with professionalism and respect for their time and privacy.
Responsibilities :
- Lead Generation : Proactively identify potential customers across kitchens, canteens, labs, and more.
- Product Presentations : Clearly demonstrate the product’s unique benefits—unbreakable design, extreme efficiency, and total control —highlighting the product’s functionality without unnecessary complexity.
- Customer Interaction : Approach and follow up with potential customers respectfully, maintaining strict boundaries on customer data and privacy.
- Market Feedback : Collect insights from customers to aid in refining our product and sales approach, keeping in line with Minimal Engineering’s commitment to user-focused, essential solutions.
- Documentation : Maintain records of interactions, leads, and sales to ensure efficient reporting and customer service follow-up as needed.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in sales or customer engagement, ideally with tech or engineering-focused products.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex engineering concepts into clear, compelling points.
- Respect for customer boundaries, committed to ethical, privacy-focused sales practices.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage remote sales activities with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person demonstrations and customer meetings.
