You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build, maintain, and enhance robust web applications. Your expertise in JavaScript (jQuery & React) , PostgreSQL , and GitHub workflows will be crucial to driving product development forward.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and ERB templatesBuild and enhance front-end components using JavaScript , jQuery , and ReactWrite clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practicesWork with PostgreSQL for data modeling and efficient queriesCollaborate with team members via GitHub , managing branches, pull requests, and code reviewsIntegrate and experiment with AI tools and APIs to deliver intelligent featuresTroubleshoot and debug issues across the stackParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisionsRequired Skills & Experience3+ years of professional experience with Ruby on RailsProficiency in ERB templating , HTML , CSS , and responsive designStrong command of JavaScript , with experience in jQuery and ReactSolid experience with PostgreSQL , including performance tuning and complex queriesFamiliarity with Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD processesWorking knowledge of AI tools/APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face) and how they can be integrated into web appsAbility to write well-tested, well-documented codeNice to HaveExperience with background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque)Familiarity with Docker or containerized deploymentExposure to Agile/Scrum methodologiesInterest in prompt engineering or ML/AI applications
