Role & responsibilities :


  • Design, develop, and customize Shopify themes and templates to create visually appealing and user-friendly online stores.
  • Implement and customize Shopify plugins and extensions to add desired functionality to the e-commerce website.
  • Configure and integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance the capabilities of the Shopify platform.
  • Optimize website performance, including page load speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the website.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and marketers, to ensure seamless integration of design elements and marketing strategies into the website.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients during the website development process and after the website launch.
  • Manage and maintain the security, scalability, and stability of the e-commerce website.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience as a Shopify developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Proficiency in web development languages and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
  • In-depth knowledge of Shopify platform, including themes, templates, plugins, and APIs.
  • Experience in customizing and extending Shopify functionality using Liquid, Shopify's API, and app integrations.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and ability to implement SEO techniques into the website.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

Qualifications

  • Graduate, preferred in computer
