Work Experience and Qualification
- Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably 2–3 years in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance,
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in handling accounts for ecommerce, manufacturing, retail, or service industries.
- Familiarity with cost accounting and project-based accounting.
- Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and technologies.
Position Summary:
An Accounts Executive will manage the organization's financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and support the finance team in achieving business objectives. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting and Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure they are updated in the accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of ledger accounts.
- Invoicing and Payments:
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and track payments.
- Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable, and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain records of receipts and disbursements.
- Taxation and Compliance:
- Assist in preparing and filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal audit processes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor variances between budgeted and actual performance, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare periodic financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support internal and external reporting requirements.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
