Job Summary


As a Material Planner Analyst, you will focus on improvement and achieving EATON´s High5 and other operational KPI`s, monitor inventory and sustain master data in ERP (like lead-time, ROP, Safety time, end2end lead-time, and work with MRP Monitor roll out´s (or outputs). You will manage value stream from supplier to distribution center, will be responsible for material availability and electrical finish goods inventory management. Maintains system inventory records and enters transactions. Achieve customer satisfaction through effective planning and executions. You will reporting directly to the Material Planner Team Leader.


Job Responsibilities


"- Utilize SAP Requirements Planning (MRP) module

- Monitor stock balance between SAP and 3PL system and work with the IM on inventory strategy and rules

- Manage flow of goods between Suppliers/Factories and Distribution Center

- Ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries are made on time

- Timely execute Purchase orders to vendors

- Set up weekly/ monthly calls with critical vendors - Top 3-5

- Be responsible for a clear open purchase order book to vendors

- Ensure that customer escalations are communicated to vendors

- Communicate to customer service /OM in case there are changes to the supply plan that affect promised sales order dates

- Ensure KPI are achieved based on daily/monthly/ quarterly reviews

- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers, planners, OM, SCC, CM, OP, SP, Process Excellence

- Utilize SAP Requirements Planning (MRP) module

- Creation/Maintenance PIR, SL for Internal & External suppliers in BDC

- Manage Purchase Orders towards to suppliers and work on improvements in system in alignment with Strategical Planner

- Handle system exception messages daily

- Allocate stock based on Order Management request

- Manage inquiries from customer service and be the person to go at the first escalation level

- Release orders which are blocked by Impact Filter

- Investigate and solve reasons of Blocked Invoices weekly

- Provide Forecast to Vendors and understand the impact

- Track and take continuous improvement actions for Material Planning KPI - On-time Delivery (OTD); Stock fill rate (SFR and S-OTD

- Escalate if the MRP planning parameters are not correct in SAP to SP

- Understand and managing risks to minimize impact on planning KPI´s

- Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages to the DC´s (end to end ownership)

- Coordinate deliveries from Suppliers to Distribution Center

- Support any kind of challenging projects and stakeholder of several improvements

- Response to queries from Warehouse

Close collaboration with commodity managers responsible for GPO (Global Procurement Office) managed categories, looking for cost out opportunities, overall supports SCM strategy (sustainability, resilience, cost)

•Significantly contributes to process improvement activities, new tool implementations, standardization projects and knowledge sharing.

•Preparation of process descriptions (work instructions)

•Daily maintenance of KPI reports and trackers and creation daily other operational reports (material availability, open order book etc)

•Close cooperation with specialist fields, Strategic Procurement/Global Purchasing, accounting department, Material Planning, Engineering, Plant SCM operations.

Ensure that planning data (policies and parameters) on the ERP system are accurate and continuously adapted to current scenarios - define monthly KPIs for tracking the progress

- Use SAP MRP Monitor to sustain data integrity and work actively with Process Excellence team on implementing IBP

- Be part of the Phase in/out process in alignment with SCC and update the system parameters accordingly

- Become a key user in SAP MM module and ensure the train the trainer concept is followed

- Work proactively on improvements together with other Strategical planners

- Handle hyper care customer with regional impact

- Work closer to CC and sales to ensure the right execution level

- Work closer to PLM to understand the products and increase technical knowledge

- Work on short term fixes foe VAS customers and improve processes and e sure production has products in time

- Support SIOP execution and ensure fc is updated properly in SAP for FC items (ex Bosch?)

- Work with PE team on the right replenishment strategy and work with team leaders to execute in SAP

Qualifications


A-Level or comparable. Bachelor's degree/ MBA in relevant area preferred


Technical Skill-


  • Min 5+ years in Buyer/ Planner role managing end to end Procure to Pay cycle
  • SAP MM advanced level, MS Office advanced level
