Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering design and development of solar power projects from concept through construction.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of engineering teams and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  • Interface with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the solar power industry, with at least 5-7 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of solar design principles, PV systems, and relevant codes and standards.

Skills:

  • Project Management: Leading and managing solar design projects from concept to completion.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of solar PV systems and design principles.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards.
  • Team Coordination: Managing and coordinating engineering teams and contractors.

Preferred:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience with software tools like AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Helioscope.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
