Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family-run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500 years old traditional art forms. The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary created a unique business model, which provides livelihood to the artisans at their doorstep. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug.
The modern and eclectic collection of rugs, made using the finest wool and silk, has won numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc. located in Georgia, Atlanta.

The ideal candidate should be energetic, have excellent communication skills, and be able to understand the needs of luxury end customer and interior designers.The job description for a sales merchant at Jaipur Rugs include:Client experience : Ensuring a positive customer experience over calls, emails, chat and virtual callsIncoming calls : Answering incoming calls and taking follow up on emailsOutgoing calls : Making outgoing calls to existing and new data and generate business from fresh and follow up calls to achieve sales targetsDocuments : Prepare (using salesforce) and share Proforma Invoice, Price Quotation, Presentation and other necessary documents using MS Office for clients
Attend Client Meetings : Whenever required be ready to attend meetings with client and IDAs online and offline.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:Bachelors in business administration, design or relevant field; MBA is desirable.Proven experience in sales and CRM is mustBasic knowledge of working with interior designers and architects would be added advantageKnowledge of online sales is preferableOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesExcellent organizing and leadership skills with commercial awareness.
