Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Finance & Tax Advisor with a Chartered Accountant qualification to provide expert guidance on financial planning, tax strategies, and compliance. This part-time consultant role is ideal for a skilled professional who can support our financial goals by optimizing tax strategies, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable financial insights. The role offers a hybrid working mode, combining remote work flexibility with on-site presence at our Chennai, Nungambakkam office.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Advisory and Planningo Develop and implement effective financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.o Provide insights and recommendations on financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to support business growth and profitability.

2. Tax Strategy and Complianceo Advise on corporate tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance with local and national tax regulations.o Prepare and review tax returns, filings, and disclosures, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to statutory requirements.o Stay updated on changes in tax laws and financial regulations, advising management on potential impacts.

3. Financial Reporting and Analysiso Review and analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights into key financial metrics and trends.o Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting.

4. Regulatory and Statutory Complianceo Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Income Tax, GST, and other relevant laws and standards.o Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial matters.

5. Risk Management and Internal Controlso Identify and mitigate financial risks by establishing effective internal controls and conducting periodic audits.o Advise on best practices for financial governance and implement strategies to strengthen financial controls.

6. Consultation and Collaborationo Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing financial and tax-related advice to support decision-making.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with operational objectives.

Qualifications Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Experience: Minimum of (5-7) years of experience in finance and tax advisory roles, with a strong background in corporate finance, tax planning, and compliance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus. Tax Expertise: In-depth understanding of Indian tax laws, GST regulations, and financial reporting standards. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
