Bachelor degree or Master Degree in Computer science / Electronics Engineering / MCA .10 to 12 years on experience on software development on Telecommunications on 3G / LTE / 5G user plane products.Good hands on experience in software design and development using C/C++ on Linux, system programming on Linux like OS, multi-process, multi-threaded programing design and development.Should have worked on Fast path technologies like Intel DPDK, VPP, 6Wind etc.Protocols: IP, TCP, UDP, IP QoS, ARP, concepts of IPv4 and IPv6 UE IP addresses.Knowledge on 3GPP specifications on LTE and 5G UPF and protocols used. (Gtpv1, GTP-U, PFCP)Better understanding of LTE and 5G architecture and role of different nodes (SGW, PGW, MME, PCRF/OCS and other charging functions etc.), Exposure to Deep Packet Inspection and Shallow Packet InspectionKnowledge on Policy framework used in PGW-U and UPF.Routing knowledge of BGP, OSPF, LDP, L2TP, MPLS, GRE etc. are added advantages.Knowledge on UE IP allocation in PGW.Should have exposure to use tools to develop and test the User plane products (Spirent like tools )Should be able to train the juniors and mentor, self-motivated and self-driven
