Position Summary:
As the Director-Talent Management for Volvo Group India, you will play a strategic role in leading and executing all aspects of our talent management function. You will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent across our Indian operations, ensuring we have the right people in place to achieve our ambitious growth plans. As an expert in talent management and leadership development, you will be of our HR-CoE in India, and will be involved in generating and promoting new concepts and methodologies to ensure strong talent management practices are followed by the organization. You will provide consultation to top management including operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results and influence business decisions.
Key responsibilities
The role-holder is responsible for guiding and driving the overall Talent & Leadership development strategy for Volvo Group in India and drive strategic initiatives to meet country business goals. The person will support the organization with a change management approach for new processes, methods and tools as well as capability building of HR Business Partners in the country. The person will also be responsible for external benchmarking and market trend watch in talent & leadership domain.
The person will support leaders in driving Performance Management through Touchpoints, people growth through talent reviews, succession planning and culture building. The person will drive local leadership development, based on Global, Local and personal directions and guidance. The person is also responsible for designing, developing and improving methods and tools to create business relevance in collaboration with Digital & IT product team to offer intuitive and simple digital solutions for HR. The person will be driving HR Technology and Analytics implementation in the country to deliver people experience and operational excellence and efficiency.

Collaboration: Ability to work with matrixed organization, cross-functional teams and external stakeholders like vendors through influencing and solution focus
Analytical: Capacity to see data patterns and derive insights from data
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Extensive experience in developing Talent Management & Leadership development strategy and agenda and deploying strategic initiatives
Experience in deploying HR technology across variety of use cases
Expertise in latest trends in HR Analytics, uses cases and experience in implementing HR Analytics
Minimum of 15 years in Human Resource Management, with considerable experience in Talent & Leadership Development, including at least 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
