As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of development lifecycle. You should be knowledgeable in object-oriented development and engineering best practices.

What you’ll doDesign and develop software applications, project prototypes, proofs of concept & client demosEvaluate performance of critical application components and optimize them to assure maximum performance and scalabilityAssist in driving the development effort for End-to-End on-time delivery of high-quality solutions that conform to feature requirementsWork closely with the product management, program management, and other team members to coordinate schedules, identify task assignments and provide progress updates at daily standup meetingsPerform, design and code reviews for all key application functional componentsProvide critical thinking, technical innovation and attention to detail when serving as a trusted advisor on your teamKeep up to date on the latest technical developments in your areaEnsure compliance with Web standards and accessibility requirements.Ensure robust high quality code standards are maintained in the development process.Participate in all Scrum team ceremonies.

What you’ll bring10 or more years of experience in designing and developing applications in JavaExperience with common web technologies – JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, CSS, and HTMLExperience with JSP, Tomcat, and Linux.Understanding of software engineering best practices and object-oriented developmentExperience working with REST and/or SOAP services and APIs.Familiarity with Git and continuous integration systems, such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.Familiarity with building software applications in the cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) a plus.Experience with automated testing, including both unit and integration testing frameworks.Experience with Lucene and object oriented databases a plus.
