Job Description :

We are looking for IT Infrastructure Presales Consultant who has worked upon and led deals for BFSI or Manufacturing verticals. The incumbent must have strong skills in IT Infrastructure services and solutions, proposal development, bid management and pricing models. This role has a very high visibility with leadership team and work as in Individual contributor role.

Work Location - Bengaluru

Level – P4 to M1 (3 to 12 years of experience)

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Bid manage and author RFP, RFQ, RFI responses. Independently work on RFX response documents.

• Bid manage proactive proposals /responses

• Experience in independently managing deals – medium to large ($30-$100m). Will have accountability for proposal construct, proposal development, review cycles, presentations and solution defense.

• Participate in conference calls with customers along with sales team to understand the requirements

• Manage the bid process to construct the value proposition by working with various teams – technology teams, service line teams, practices, finance, legal etc

• Understand the scope of work stated in these RFXs, identify potential risk etc and work closely with technology teams to build the solution

• Help with industry research, understand the customer challenges and map the value proposition

• Present the solution or value proposition to the customer

•Create Capability presentations/sales pitch for sales team for sales meetings

• Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes

• Work closely with the sales and technology teams to create sales pitch, define entry strategy, door openers etc.

• Create capability presentations for various industry sub segments, service offering and or technology service offerings

• Orchestrate and manage client visits- define the value themes and propositions based on the client needs

• Work closely with marketing teams to run specific campaigns for lead generation

• Create and manage content and repository – reusable content, case studies, standard sales /capability presentation



Required Skill sets

• Proven pre-sales experience in IT Infrastructure services and solutions

• Good technical understanding of IT Infrastructure Services, offerings, delivery models across various services like Datacenter operations, Enterprise Compute Services, End user computing, Workplace services, Network Services, Storage and Backup services, Database services, Cloud managed services, Digital transformation and consulting etc

• Understanding of industry processes /domain – at least one of Banking, Payments, Insurance and Manufacturing industry

• Keep abreast of the changing technology landscape

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent in MS Word document skills, MS Powerpoint creation skills, MS Excel creation and analysis skills

• Good understanding of pricing models and commercial engineering

• Excellent capability in presenting technical solutions and value proposition to the customer.

• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) – English

• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the Manufacturing and Insurance sectors


Candidate Profile

• Should have engineering background and MBA from Tier 1/Tier 2 colleges.

• Minimum of 3 years of past experience in pre-sales and bid management in IT Services Company preferred.
